We are committed to protecting your digital privacy and delivering a clean, secure, and frictionless browser workstation experience. This Privacy Policy details how information, files, sensor permissions, and local browser storage are handled across our entire ecosystem of over 110 online timing tools, GPS telemetry trackers, financial workstations, creative studios, acoustic synthesizers, and security utilities.

1. Client-Side File Processing & Local Browser Storage
Unlike conventional online converters and editors that upload your confidential documents to remote cloud servers, kelana.net executes all file manipulations locally inside your device's web browser:
- Zero Cloud Uploads (Volatile RAM Execution): Photographs, identity documents, videos, audio tracks, PDFs, and archives opened inside our tools (including Photo Censor Online, Speed Video, Speed Pixel, Audio Wave Visualizer, Batch Image Compressor, PDF to Images, and Minimalist CV Maker) are processed strictly within your device's volatile memory (RAM) using HTML5 Canvas, Web Audio, and WebAssembly APIs.
- Automatic Metadata Sanitization: When you redact sensitive images using Photo Censor Online or re-encode pictures via our canvas studios, the exported image is freshly rendered from local canvas pixels—automatically stripping hidden camera EXIF metadata and embedded GPS headers.
- Browser Local Storage (
localStorage&IndexedDB): For multi-session workstations (such as Trading Journal, Staff Attendance, Payroll Ledger, Instant Cashier POS, and Weekly To-Do Lists), your entries are saved exclusively inside your own browser’s local storage on your device. We have zero remote access to these ledgers. You can permanently erase this data at any time by clicking the tool's internal Reset/Clear button or clearing your browser cache.
2. Hardware & Sensor Permissions (GPS, Mic, Camera & Screen)
Several specialized instruments on kelana.net interact with your device's physical sensors or media streams. Access to these hardware features is strictly opt-in and governed by your browser's native permission prompts:
- Geolocation / GPS Telemetry (GPS Speedometer, Track Lap Timer, Running/Cycling/Mountain/Marine Trackers): When you grant location permission, live satellite coordinates and velocity vectors are read directly by your browser to calculate speed, pace, split times, and elevation on your screen. Your live physical location is never transmitted to, logged by, or stored on our servers. Similarly, when using Photo Location Finder or View EXIF Metadata, GPS tags are parsed locally from the image file header on your machine.
- Microphone & Audio Input (Autotune Online, Instrument Tuners, Audio Wave Visualizer, Noise & Decibel Test, Scream Power, Speed Audio): Live microphone streams are analyzed locally in real time via the Web Audio API Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) engine to detect musical pitch, measure decibel levels, or render soundwaves. Your voice and ambient audio are never uploaded to any server.
- Camera & Screen Capture (Webcam Tester & Screen Recorder Online): Video feeds from your webcam or desktop screen/tab (via
getDisplayMedia) are rendered and encoded into MP4/WebM video buffers strictly inside your local browser memory.
3. Peer-to-Peer (WebRTC) Transfers & Ephemeral Streams
We provide decentralized file-sharing and ephemeral communication utilities engineered to minimize data footprints:
- Direct P2P File Transfer (Ghost Drop): When you transfer files between devices using Ghost Drop, a temporary signaling handshake establishes a direct, encrypted WebRTC Data Channel between the sender's browser and the receiver's browser. Your files stream directly peer-to-peer and are never stored in cloud buckets.
- Ephemeral Communication (Encrypted Social Forum & Encrypted Chat Room): Our ephemeral communication rooms require zero account registration, email addresses, or persistent user profiles. In the public ephemeral forum, messages are engineered to automatically self-destruct (auto-burn) after 30 seconds without permanent database archiving.
4. Technical Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, standard non-identifying network telemetry is automatically processed by our web hosting infrastructure (Google Blogger CDN) to deliver web pages and defend against automated cyberattacks. This includes:
- Browser type, language preference, and viewport resolution.
- Operating system category (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux).
- Referring URLs, page load timestamps, and anonymized IP addresses for DDoS mitigation and bandwidth routing.
5. Cookies, Google AdSense & Analytics
To maintain over 110 tools completely free of charge without subscriptions or watermarks, we utilize standard web analytics and display contextual advertisements:
Google AdSense & Advertising Partners
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisements based on your prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve relevant ads to you.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Alternatively, you can manage or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds.info.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) & Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure aggregate, anonymized traffic metrics (such as popular tools, session duration, and general device categories) so we can optimize application performance. Google Analytics 4 operates with IP anonymization enabled by default. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing your browser across websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Direct Inquiries & Communications
kelana.net does not feature user registration forms, comment login walls, or email marketing popups. The only personal information we ever receive is what you voluntarily send us when emailing bug reports, feedback, or business inquiries. We use your email address strictly to reply to your message and never sell, rent, or share your contact details with third parties.
7. Cryptographic Security & Zero-Knowledge Design
Because your files and calculations remain inside your local browser environment rather than a centralized cloud database, there is no server-side repository of your personal files that could be exposed in a data breach.
- HTTPS/TLS Encryption: All traffic between your browser and kelana.net is secured via Transport Layer Security (HTTPS).
- Zero-Knowledge Client-Side Vaults: When you encrypt a file using our Online File Locker (AES-GCM 256-bit) or conceal data via File Camouflage, the cryptographic keys are derived locally in your RAM via PBKDF2 and are never transmitted over the internet.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our platform provides general-audience productivity, educational, and creative utilities. We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or store personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us via direct email, please contact us immediately so we can purge the correspondence.
9. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Global)
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA, or Indonesia under UU PDP), you hold statutory rights regarding personal data:
- Right to Access & Erasure: Because all workspace data resides locally in your own browser's RAM or
localStorage, you have direct, immediate control to view, export, or permanently delete your data at any moment without submitting a ticket. - Right to Opt-Out of Tracking: You may configure cookie consent preferences, use browser Do-Not-Track/ad-blocking extensions, or opt out of personalized ads via the links in Section 5.
- Right to Delete Correspondence: You may request the immediate deletion of any email correspondence you have previously sent to our support team.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new client-side browser APIs, newly launched applications, or evolving data protection regulations. Any updates will be published directly on this page along with the revised effective date at the top.
